Some of the most beautiful private forest land belongs to people who may still Love their property deeply, yet no longer live on it — or even nearby.
Perhaps you no longer visit often, farm it, maintain firebreak trails, or have the time and energy to actively care for it at all.
We are building long-term relationships with private landowners who truly care about what happens to their forest property and who would Love to see it actively tended to, protected, and appreciated.
This is a labor of Love.
Our work centers around wildfire fuel reduction, forest stewardship, regenerative agriculture, and caring for the land in ways that help a healthy forest thrive for generations to come.
We reduce dangerous fuel accumulation by creating and maintaining trails and firebreaks, tending to trees, improving soil, keeping clean spring water flowing, and establishing regenerative and sustainable natural food systems.
Our animals also participate naturally in our stewardship work. Goats browse vegetation and minimize dry grass, chickens help build living soil and reduce invasive insects, and livestock guardian dogs help reduce the tinderbox environment of neglected woods while also serving as great protectors.
We also help people explore whether specific properties may qualify for forestry funding, conservation grants, carbon credits, or other land-based programs that could bring additional value or income to you and your acreage.
Stability for the landowner. Stability for the steward.
Depending on the property details and the arrangement we create, you may receive reliable monthly income, retain the security of a formal caretaker agreement, and have the satisfaction of knowing your land is being maintained with Love and purpose.
We are seeking secure long-term arrangements that allow us to be present on the property, growing food, building living soil, caring for the forest, and making thoughtful improvements with confidence that the work will not be lost.
Ideally, we build equity over time and eventually become the new owners, while you receive payment for an asset that may otherwise remain underutilized and potentially become a fire-risk liability.
A win for everyone involved.
- The land gains a dedicated steward.
- The animals gain a permanent place to feel at home.
- Welcomed disabled volunteers gain meaningful work thru the healing experience of time spent caring for nature.
- Food can be grown and shared with local communities.
- Wildfire risk can be reduced through thoughtful stewardship.
- Your forest's next chapter can become part of the legacy you leave behind — while you may also be financially compensated in the years to come.
This is the kind of relationship we aim to create with you.
Of course, there is no obligation at this point and no predetermined plan of action.
Everything begins with getting to know each other, exploring the property, and discovering what works best for everyone.
Please tell me about your land.
We would Love to hear about the history of your land and talk about what future it can hold.
